Representing Manchester at this level is an important opportunity for the hub and its players. MCR Beezpower will be looking to showcase the quality and ambition within the Manchester badminton community while competing alongside some of the UK's badminton leading teams and players.

As part of MCR Sport Performance, MCR Beezpower's involvement in the UBL sits alongside the club's wider focus on player development, high-quality coaching and creating opportunities for athletes to compete at the highest level. The UBL provides an additional platform for players to test themselves in a team environment and gain valuable experience against strong opposition.

MCR Sport Performance, led by founder Patrick Teh, is proud to announce a landmark development in the growth of racket sports in Manchester. Building on his extensive experience managing Manchester Badminton, Patrick has established MCR Sport Performance as a hub for athletic excellence. Today, that vision reaches a new height with the announcement of a powerful partnership and our entry into top-flight competition.
