David leads as the Performance Director, as a physiotherapist. He integrates advanced performance analytics with sports science to optimise diverse training, recovery, and injury prevention, ensuring athletes in MCR Sport Performance remains at the forefront of innovation in sport development.
Lavin Wong
Director of Racket Services & IT
Lavin is a professional racket stringer specialising in badminton stringing, with experience at both national and international levels. He is an ERSA Certified Pro Tour Stringer, recognised for his technical expertise and professional standards on the international stage. Lavin has delivered professional stringing services at the Yonex All England Championships, where he has strung rackets for international players and England junior players.
Tan Kian Meng

Former World No. 5 in mixed doubles, currently England's doubles head coach, Tan Kian Meng brings elite international playing experience and deep badminton expertise to our coaching staff. His coaching blends advanced technical skill, extensive match experience and contemporary training methods. He pairs professional-level insight with a strong commitment to developing players and helping them achieve their full potential.

With over 30 years of coaching experience, Mark Golds brings extensive expertise in player development, having worked with England junior and senior teams and coached players from grassroots to international level. A former England U18 player and World Masters Champion, Mark combines elite playing experience with proven coaching knowledge to help players develop their technique, confidence and performance.
